School is out and summer can officially begin...if only the weather would cooperate. After several days of rain (which we did need) and cooler temps., it is finally starting to clear up. Sophia's soccer game was rained out this past weekend. This was after she included the following in her prayers the night before. "Dear God, please God bless my mom and dad...and please let it rain tomorrow so I don't have to play soccer." Last night she prayed that her cousin would like his veggies (which he tried for the first time today) and he did. Maybe she's onto something here!
Andrew is upstairs right now taking his nap in a big boy bed! Usually he goes right to sleep, but today he was quite fussy. I put him into the double bed in the guest room and spied on him for awhile to see what he would do. For the longest time, he just lay there looking around. Finally, he dropped off to sleep. What a little angel!
