Today we celebrated Sophia's third birthday! It's hard to believe our little girl is already 3! She had a busy day, starting with her very first swimming lesson. She enjoyed it and even jumped into the water. After her favorite weekend tradition, doughnuts at Kowalskis, it was party time. Her grandmas, grandpas, Aunties Jen and Kirsten and Uncle Matt joined us for the festivities. Auntie Amanda and Uncle Jason called with birthday greetings from Australia and Washington, D.C. Sophia couldn't wait to open her presents and did so in record time. As you can see, she was quite excited to get the movie Ratatouille and two princess outfits, among MANY other presents. Her birthday theme this year was Curious George (or Monkey George, as she likes to call him) and I made a cake to go along with it. I think it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.
